I just my first 3D printer (a Bambu Labs PS1). So far I’ve printed some brackets for Aqara temperature sensor and buttons. I know David has mentioned Gridfinity in the past and I’ll be giving that a try soon. What are some other useful things that people have printed?
Check out K2_Kevin on MakerWorld. He has filament clips, printer maintenance tools, and storage items that work with Gridfinity.
Any lessons learned so far? I’m about to purchase a Bambu myself.
Not much wisdom to share yet. The printer has worked well so far. I haven’t had to do any tweaking. Their software isn’t great, but so far I’ve just needed to use the basic features.
The AMS is really convenient. It’s nice to not have to swap out spools all the time. Doing multicolor prints has been a mixed bag for me. It can be pretty wasteful if it has to swap colors a lot.
I mostly bought Bambu’s own filament since they had some decent deals on it. I’ve tried a couple third party filaments. They have been mostly ok, but can sometimes jam up if they weren’t wound tight enough.
