Utility to capture contact details

Long time ago, I remember a utility that you could use to capture contact details such as address, email and telephone number all in one click from emails or webpages. You just highlighted the data and right-clicked and it created a new contact for you.

Does anything like that currently exist?

Cardhop (Flexibits | Cardhop — The contacts app you'll actually want to use.) can do this.

If you select a phone number in Safari on Mac then hover over the number a data identifier will appear and let you add it to contacts. That doesn’t seem to work for addresses.

I usual just take a screenshot of the info. Then Preview will allow you to select phone numbers, etc. and “add to contacts”. That doesn’t work on iPad . . . but iOS/iPadOS is getting the Preview app so . . . :crossed_fingers:

Until then I use copy and paste to add to contacts on iPad.

I miss Data Detectors. It was almost PopClip before PopClip.
