Interesting I watched this video this morning and my take away:

  1. Don’t use SMS 2FA, we all know how this is a huge risk for some time, no news, the news is that they can hack you without sim swap.
  2. This hack is quite expensive, it might be easy, but still expensive. So the hack needs to pay off, so after # 1, nobody will be interested in hacking you unless your private information is worth it.
  3. Save all your contacts with country code and encourage people calling you to do the same.
  4. Use IP based texting and calls with end to end encryption as much as possible.

Good tips, thanks! Sometimes, SMS 2FA is the only option however.
