I haven’t been able to go back to my click-y clack-y Varmilo VA87M white Mac-layout mechanical keyboard since I got my M1 MacBook Air! I’m still in love with the all-in-one-ness of working on a compact laptop. And the Touch ID button is a killer feature.

When I was working I was a fan of the clikety-clakety IBM keyboards. Solid mechanical feel. After using the MacBook Pro keyboard for a few years I got used to the Mac keyboards and have been happy with them. I’m also a huge fan of the Touch ID on my new iMac keyboard.
I was helping a friend with his MBP with a butterfly keyboard. first one I had used - and it was a horrible experience. Very glad I missed that experience.
