Werner Vogels' Analog Notes

I enjoyed this blog post by Werner Vogels (of AWS fame) about how he takes notes, and how important he feels taking notes by hand is. I’m curious to read the paper he mentioned in the article as well, which, as I understand it, cites evidence that taking notes by hand is better than using a keyboard or tablet.

Thank you for the great find. In different contexts, I believe I’ve found/read both articles referenced, but it’s always fun (for me) to read how people apply this kind of information.

But then, I’m a learning theory nerd, so YMMV.

I also enjoyed Werners article yesterday.
I get so much value out of full text search in digital notes, that I probably will not switch to taking analogue notes, but I understand it’s advantages.

Always nice to read about someone’s Workflows and experiences.
