What’s the best way of accessing/controlling my Mac Mini from my iPad

The title says it all really - I want to be able to access my Mac Mini remotely from my iPad.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. As well as explanations that assume I’m five years old!

I’d recommend Jump Desktop. It’s a one-time purchase on the iPad (not a subscription), and the Jump Desktop Connect app that you need to have running on the Mac for it to be accessible remotely is free (you do not need to purchase Jump Desktop for the Mac if you will not be connecting to other computers from this Mac). It’s pretty easy to set up.

Second Jump Desktop. It’s a great program and works well with the Magic Keyboard.

Can I control my Mac Mini using Jump if I am not on the same wifi network?

Yep, works fine remotely, you want to be ethernet connected to mini to access WOL if its asleep, I have occasionally managed to wake mine on wifi but no idea how and it’s completely random.

I agree with those above, jump desktop is the way. Screens is not too bad either.
