What to do with this 2001 Snowball

We’re packing for a cross-country move, and downsizing in the process. Among the things to purge are way too many computers, including this beauty.

It boots and runs faster than my 2011 iMac (which I’m also getting rid of), and I got a huge hit of nostalgia when I powered it up. It’s rocking OS X version 10.3.9, and will even run OS 9 if you ask it nicely.

Now I can’t bring myself to let it go, so I’m trying to figure out if it has any use. I thought about making it a writing workstation since it doesn’t have WiFi, but I’m open to other ideas if you have them.

Not advocating this by any means, but it’s so incredibly cool. Colby Sheets has mad engineering skills:

Those are awesome, but a bit above my pay grade.

I saw this years ago and thought it was a neat idea, too. If mine was dead I would make a lamp out of it for sure.

That’s pretty cool, too. Above my pay grade as well.

Place it onto a shelf in your living room, and use it as a slideshow/digital frame for your pictures.

This is a good idea, thanks!

I can’t remember where, but I saw a picture frame with some LED attached at the back for some ambient light. Maybe this one would work with that, too?
And/Or maybe with some LED´s placed into the foot to shine thru the plastic?
