Where do saved voice messages go when saved?

I just got a voice message in the Messages.app which happens about once a year. But it’s one of those I need to save for future use, annoyingly, so I long-tapped and selected save. But where does it save? Because I need to delete that whole thread from the person and yet keep that voice message.

Is there a way to export a saved voice message and still delete the thread?

I solved it by a simple copy and then paste into the iPadOS Finder. Thanks!
