Which apps are Universal/Intel - Go64 checks them

Remember Go64? https://www.stclairsoft.com/Go64/

We used that one to check for 32bit applications when moving to 64bin-only. The newest version also shows which applications are Universal and which ones Intel and will be “rosettaed”.

That is going to come in handy!

I also think so. I already lost track which developers released universal versions…too many posts, articles, comments on “x now for M1!”.

You can also see the list of all your applications in the system report.

  2. About this Mac
  3. System Report (or skip step 2 and hold down Option)

About halfway down the list, under “Software”, click on “Applications”. The far-right column is labeled “Kind”, and it can be sorted. All of your apps are listed as Universal, Intel, or Other.
