Whitelist HomeKit addresses?

Does anyone know what addresses HomeKit must access to work properly? (For example, iCloud.com?)

I have an eero network, and we use it to disable Internet on our basement Apple TV when not in use (so our daughter doesn’t come down and watch during non-screen time). I’ve noticed that when doing so, our HomeKit devices often go offline, coming back online when the block is lifted.

I understand that in iOS 18, I’ll be able to prioritize HomeKit hubs, but in the meantime I’m trying to figure out a way to allow HomeKit traffic on this device. The Home app appears to let you select hubs, but tapping on them does nothing.

I can’t even guess what services it would connect to, or why, other than Siri and potentially the IoT vendor.

AFAIK Apple doesn’t publish ip data for consumer use. But netcraft.com is one site I’ve used for years to check specific site data.

And I found this, FWIW.

Thanks! I’ll give those a try and see where it gets me.

You can completely remove HomeKit support from an AppleTV, unlike HomePods.

If you don’t really need that AppleTV running HomeKit, that would be the easiest solution.
