Hi Everyone, I just had an issue really interesting and wanted to share with you.
Some things first…
Wifi Name at home: Internet
Things connected to my iCloud account
Apple TV, Mac, iPhone, iPad.
I am currently traveling for business and in the apt that I am staying the SSID is Internet also, without giving too much though about, I click Internet, got wrong password on my phone, just clicked forget, re-connect and apartment password connected and things going well. After 4 days, my Apple TV at home lost connection because it sync the password with iCloud and since I changed on my devices to make it work on my trip, disconnected at home, if I connect at home, wifi password gets updated and on my business trip I get disconnected my devices.
I found this really interesting. Know I am cat and mouse based on what I need.
To resolve this issue, I turn on guest network with different ssid at home and re-connect Apple TV to guest network while I am on trip to not be fighting for the name.
I used Tech Support but I I hope is shared on other groups just in case happens to someone else.
