Window Management Sequoia - Keyboard Shortcuts with cursor keys do not work (they ping)

Hi
I installed Squoia and must say - smooth upgrade and sailing. I deactivatedmy window manager I was using (swish Swish for macOS ) and am trying the one in Sequoia.

Fine so far and it would have everything for my needs. But two things:

  1. The keyboard shortcut with cursor keys do not work, they ping - the ones for full screnn etc work. Any suggestions?
  2. I liked the window management by swiping when using Swish . Can I assign shortcuts to gestures when my mouse is in the title bar? I am using keyboard maestro already
    Cheers

Are you using an external keyboard not made by apple?

I’ve found out that macOS does not handle well combinations with fn/globe key with arrow key codes. Even with other apps (try using fn+arrows as shortcuts in Swish and you’ll see they don’t work there as well).

This is limited to arrows and to macOS (same keyboard works fine with iPadOS).

Even if you’re an Apple keyboard, they will not work properly with the arrow+globe/fn if you have Karabiner Elements working.

The oddity of this behavior is not new to Sequoia, but it will become increasingly annoying as Apple seems to be implementing the globe/fn key code as a way to trigger a lot of system shortcuts.

Ah - Karabiner Elements. That is it. I am using it to map the CAPS-LOCK key to control-shift-option-command.

So - are there any other tools (I know BetterTouchTool can do it as well - but I had the impression it was rather sluggish) to do the mapping?
