For those using WisprFlow, I wanted to share the following tip. I was frustrated that I kept having to reach for the return key at the end of my dictation. Luckily, there is a built-in solution to WisprFlow that just requires toggling on a few options.
From their support team:
Great news! Flow actually has a feature that does exactly what you’re looking for ![]()
You can say “press enter” at the end of any dictation, and Flow will automatically press the Enter key after pasting your text. The words “press enter” are removed from the transcript, so only your actual content appears.
Here’s how to enable it:
- Dictate something and say “press enter” at the end
- Flow will show a notification asking if you want to enable this feature
- Go to Settings → Experimental and toggle on the “press enter” feature
- From then on, saying “press enter” at the end of any dictation will auto-submit
A few notes:
- The command is only recognized at the end of your dictation (not mid-sentence)
- Flow handles punctuation intelligently, so “Hello world. Press enter.” will paste “Hello world.” and then press Enter
- You can toggle the feature off anytime in Settings → Experimental
This should eliminate that reach back to the keyboard entirely!
