“Everything is air-droppable at least once.” - The Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries
From my POV the only reason for a device with a varying screen size (whether folded or scrolled) is to make a phone that can also become a tablet. So I see it as a phone first, tablet second as @ChrisUpchurch describes. I can’t really see a use for a small phone that unfolds into a big phone but then I’ve never seen a use for a big phone, only for a small tablet. Semantics I guess but for me the use cases are very different.
Another foldable phone:
This seems to be more of a prototype than a production-ready design.
YES! PLEASE! just don’t make everything so big!
I have tiny hands, so every aspect of a big phone is harder for me.
Foldable, interesting idea, that I’ll worry on when there are some reliable, refined alternatives on the market.
Problematic … and disastrous, it seems.
“It just doesn’t matter. It’s Samsung. Duh. Exploding phones, breakable phones, sleazy ads suggesting you should stalk women on the ski slopes—all water under the bridge for Samsung.”
