Let’s share our thoughts and reflections about Apple’s announcements at WWDC 2024. I’m excited about this year’s WWDC. I’m hoping for significant enhancements to iOS, iPadOS, and Siri, as well as a privacy-focused, practical integration of AI throughout Apple’s apps and services and third-party apps.
I’ll be watching from my Vision Pro
Now, that does sound cool!
Customizable macOS boot/login screen is all I want…
(Well, plus iPadOS 18 support for my iPad Pro 10.5” - I don’t know which wish is more likely to be granted )
My predictions are:
The tap function on the gen 2 pencil will activate the pencil menu like on the pencil pro (no squeeze or barrel roll obviously).
Secondly, the new pencil pro haptics will provide the sensation of writing on paper.
Gurman didn’t get those!
Sam Altman spotted at Apple Park
This better be unique, or at least different—and better. I’m so sick of hearing about ChatGPT…
I’m not jealous
I’m not jealous
I’m not jealous.
Oh, darn it….
I won’t be watching it on the Vision Pro, but I am watching it with a brand new iPad with its beautiful screen with my Bose headphones.
The music is very good through Bose. I hope to get AirPod Max 2 if they are ever introduced.
Love the old rainbow
Hahah. The Verge’s David Pierce:
I’m just saying, when Sergey Brin skydived into a keynote, he actually did it live. Just saying.
How much do you think the insurers hate to see Tim Cook standing on the roof on all those slippery solar panels?
I like the large Mac screen “coming soon.” Maybe I don’t need to buy a Studio display … tho the reality is that I plan to buy one more real physical display before buying a Vision Pro.
Mac Virtual Display and Mouse support is awesome, but I’m a bit shocked those are the biggest features.
If the biggest news for iOS is icons and widgets, then this is a boring year for iOS.
Hard disagree. Being able to put app icons anywhere I want? This is the biggest year yet! It might even be iOS’s final form.
Craig strutting in with his parachute jump suit and tearing it off was so funny.
Hair Track Pro and a LiDAR Dryer is amazing.
This is a lot of “finally” for messages, send later, format text, etc.
Messages via satellite looks interesting.
RCS is on the iOS overview slide! Interesting!
