This price hike easily makes the decision for me when my YouTube Premium trial ends.
YouTube Premium is $13.99/month. YouTube Music is $10.99/month. That’s not a huge difference — only $3/month.
For those who like and use YouTube Music, the new price is probably still worth it. But that’s not me. I’d probably be willing to pay up to $10/month for an unbundled ad-free version of YouTube. Heck, I was toying with the idea of $12/month for YouTube Premium.
But $14/month when I don’t use YouTube Music? No way. Even their $140/year savings is double what I pay to use a full office suite. Sheesh.
