@ismh86 I just heard the news on the episode. I am very sorry to hear that Stephen is leaving the show. He was a fantastic co-host.
In the film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Spock is preparing for retirement from Starfleet. The story is set toward the end of his career, and he is ready to pass his responsibilities to the next generation. He mentors Lieutenant Valeris, a fellow Vulcan, as his replacement, believing she has the potential to carry on his work.
So Stephen, I leave you with the words of Valeris:
SPOCK: “This will be my final voyage on board this vessel as a member of her crew. Nature abhors a vacuum. I intend you to replace me.”
VALERIS: “I can only succeed you, sir. I could never replace you.”
You will be succeeded by the other Stephen, but you will never be replaced.
Big news! Time has flown since 2019. Stephen, your tenure on MPU has been excellent. Welcome, new Stephen!

I started listening right at the beginning of the Stephen #1 era. It’s always been awesome and wish nothing but the best for the future. @ismh86 will be missed!
Happily welcoming the beginning of the Stephen #2 era. I used to listen to Stephen Robles back when he was on the Apple Insider podcast and found him to be quite good there. I think we’re in for a treat in this next MPU era!
Congratulations Stephen! You will be missed but it’s clear you need to do what you gotta do. Mr Robles is a fantastic addition to the network so great call there.
