I’m investigating Bitwarden, but am generally happy with 1Password. The subscription is mostly paying for my entire family to be using it, and gives me secure sync.
It’s not a difficult thing to add - but it’s more their attitude and tone that irks me. It’s like they don’t use the software themselves for the use case, so they just don’t grok the concept.
I could never leave that app behind. I have about 1000 entries of all sorts.
“Definitely not” is the answer for me.
Well I know you can store documents but it is a bit unwieldy. It would be nice to have a vault you can just drop important documents in.
With a storage limit of 1GB, I’m not sure how many people would find that feature useful. I keep things like a copy of my will, passport, drivers license, etc in 1PW. But I keep other, less important IMO documents, in an encrypted sparsebundle on a local drive that syncs to cloud storage.
I use a .sparsebundle rather than .dmg files because only the bands containing new or changed data are synced after the initial upload.
