Any suggestions for software to unzip .zip files on macOS? I’ve got some .zip files that I can open just fine using 7zip on a Windows machine but which give errors when I try to open them in the Finder on macOS.
Try The Unarchiver—it is a drop-in replacement for Finder’s zip management.

I can recommend keka. I do have both unarchiver and keka but i feel keka is slightly more versatile.
