May 2020 Sales and Hardware/Software Deals

Thanks. I do have RX7 Standard as an upgrade so it doesn’t show as an option. But I will alert some people that I know would be interested in this deal because it’s insane.

With Automatic going belly up in the Car Telematics arena it looks like Nonda is filling the void. They’ll send you their 60 dollar OBD-II sensor for free you just pay the shipping (8.74 for me).

I know one thing I’m not paying for the hardware upfront on stuff like this. Get yours …2 days left

Nonda OBD 2 Sensor for free

[iOS] PDF it All Document Converter (Convert Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web pages and photos to PDF) is free.

[iOS] LumaFusion (the most popular mobile video editing app for iOS) price drops, from $29.99 --> $19.99

Latest Bundlehunt Spring Sale is going on HERE. Looks like I’m gonna get PopChar X for a song and when the next version comes the upgrade will be cheap.

Those that want to try Textexpander a 1 year license is 7 bucks.

A Better Finder Rename 11 is a solid upgrade. I already have it and it’s instrumental in renaming files in any scheme I want. What I like is that I can do thousands of renames in bulk and the programs chews through them. The Finder rename bogs down once you get to a few hundred renames.

Avoid VideoProc at all costs. It’s not a bad app but they’re scammers. I did a clean install of Catalina and when I plugged in my “Lifetime” license for VideoProc it didn’t work. I emailed support and they wrote back

“ Hello,
Thank you for contacting Digiarty.

The license is disabled as it exceeded the limits of registering more than it is allowed.

I am wondering if you are interested in the below offers ?

(This special offer is only from Customer Support.)

Can you believe this ISHT?

Of the current Bundlehunt apps I own

  • PopChar
  • A Better Finder Rename
  • A Better Finder Attributes
  • Waltr 2
  • Softorino YouTube Converter 2
  • Commander One PRO
  • Photo Editor Movavi
  • iStat menus

I use all but the last three. I greatly prefer Forklift to Commander One, and I can’t remember the last time I launched Photo Editor Movavi. And I’ve found I really didn’t need iStat menus, whose features I did use are in my copy of CleanMyMac X.

Before Lightroom added rename-on-import I constantly used ABFR to rename all my image files to their date&time, down to the millisecond (useful in cases when I was shooting multiple fps), but it usually only gets use today when I want to prepend info to file names, or rename files for sharing. I barely use ABFA but it’s occasionally useful. I use Waltr for iPhone backups. And I use Softorino at least once a week to pull down videos from major sites (YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion) and to snag audio-only from online videos as well. I’ve had PopChar sitting in the corner of my Finder window for many, many, many years - love it.

Incredible deal! Thanks!

Ha ha! These monthly deals threads keep costing me money (although not too much money, of course)!! Thanks for letting us know about the Bundlehunt sale! I plan to pick up an application or two.

I know. I try to keep my app habit from my wife. No way I can explain the need for 5 markdown apps. Lol

Wow, wish I had waited. I think Notability on Mac is just ok. The sync seems to work ok overall.

Interesting: yesterday it dropped from $9,99 to $0,99 according to a post a few above yours (and which triggered me to buy it).

Is the price fluctuating a lot, or is this in different countries?

Ah, I missed that! I saw the price drop reported this am on a deals site. @aardy caught it before me.

It’s a good deal either way! I like that you guys/girls share them here.

Cocoatech is offering 15% off on new purchases or upgrades of PathFinder.

Code is “stayput” on the website, the code they mailed out was “StayHome” – so take your pick.

Not sure if you’d consider it software, but given the general subject matter (skewered) it might be appropriate for this forum: iTunes has dropped the price of each season of SILICON VALLEY to $4.99, and all six seasons (53 episodes) are at an all-time low of $24.99.
