Recs for portable MagSafe chargers?

Looking at this one now:

What do you think? Are there better options out there for the money?

I’m always a little cautious about battery packs and charging cables. I wouldn’t buy either from a company which is not well known. Anker would be my provider of choice and if you want something like this, Apple’s Magsafe battery pack would be on my list.

I just bought an Anker battery pack with USB C and USB A for £40 so I can use it to charge anything.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I gave this one a try, I really like the display on it, but it didn’t charge as fast as I’d hoped so I’m returning it and will look at some Anker products.

Anker has a MagSafe battery charger that I saw somebody using while traveling. It seemed quite useful while I was fumbling around with cables

Revisiting this topic. I have been very happy with the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack for my iPhone 13 Mini. I’m in the market for an iPhone 15 and was looking to see if they had an a MagSafe Battery Pack, but I can’t find the product anymore on Apples website. Has it been discontinued?

I read a couple of days that the MagSafe Battery Pack and the Duo were being withdrawn.

Thanks! Interesting. Definitely the USB-C is the cause for this. And probably low sales. The only person I be ever seen with a MagSafe Battery Pack is myself. But I really do like it and I’m bummed that it’s not around anymore

You think the MagSafe Battery Pack will fit an iPhone 15? I use it on my 13 Mini and it fits wonderfully

I also own the MagSafe Duo. And use it to charge the iPhone overnight and the watch before bedtime. Bummed to see it go as well. Although I do experience the iPhone getting hot when charging on the Duo I must admit

I’ve got a MacSafe Duo and really like it. Being able to charge my watch with my iPhone wire via this is great.

I also have a MagSafe battery pack and it is awful. I returned one thinking it was faulty and the replacement one is identical. It doesn’t seem to charge the phone while you’re using it, it rarely gives me more than 20% additional battery, and dies really quickly. Just a terrible product IMO.

It’s MagSafe, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit the 15.

More the width. I mean the Mini 13 must be less wide than the 15, no?

The MagSafe disc is always the same size though, so it would still connect and charge.
