Although I have not yet tested this feature, it appears that the new dispatch functionality in Claude allows you to send work to Claude Cowork, which will then be processed on your Mac. I intend to test this feature soon. If anyone has used it, share your experience.

It was cranky getting is synced with my laptop, but eventually it connected. But I don’t see the point.

I would not make extensive use of this feature; however, I often have my iPad with me without my MacBook Pro. In situations like that, it would be nice to send work to Cowork that is complete when I get back to my Mac.
Just leave it awake.

I just played with it a little bit today when I saw it, but I was quite impressed in what I was able to get it to do with DEVONthink without much effort:

You need to buy an ebike Katherine!
Before I go for a bike ride, ask claude to do some stuff with my book, stop 10 minutes later, take a look at what’s happened from my iPhone, ask it to do something else, and then maybe something else, and then I cycle to the next stop, and repeat. Not all the time, but sometimes, and it’s really handy.
Or a big, gas-guzzling truck!

It is pretty useful if you need to work on files or anything that Claude has already accessed
