Just here to share today’s frustrations with Siri.
Asked her to turn off the kitchen ‘main light’ (I have 4 lights in the Kitchen, “main”, “sink”, “table”, “cabinets”
- Do you want to turn off Kitchen? No (because then everything goes out)
Asked her 3 more times, kept saying no to her question. On the last time, she apparently took my no as a yes and turned off everything.
In the afternoon, decided to ask her to turn on Office Ceiling Fan……responses were varied
- Turn off fan?
- No such device exists
- Turn on light?
- Turn off light?
Ironically, Siri on the phone seems to understand better than Siri on the HomePod Mini. My HomePod Mini is on my desk for the office, and the other is near my Kitchen Counter.
Thus concludes the Siri Frustration Syndrome
