WFH desk setup - June 2025

My latest purchase has (for now) completed my office setup for working from home

Desk: Ikea Bekant Electric Sit/Stand desk 120cm x 80cm
Below the desk, I have a 5 drawer Ikea Alex unit, plus an additional one to the right to hold the Paper Shredder and my Brother mono Airprint Laser Printer

Monitor Shelf: Fenge Dual Monitor Stand https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CFTF2FXF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 (This is the latest purchase)

Left Monitor: MSI Pro MP275Q
Right Monitor: Dell 24” Monitor with rotation (Provided by work)

Desk Lights: Millenium Falcon (On the right behind the Dell)) & Qooltek LED Desk Lap - Both switch on only when there’s a computer plugged into the Dock. Very useful for 5am and 9pm work video calls

Dock (behind the streamdeck): Dell WD22 TB 4 dock
Streamdeck Mark 1 - 15 key

11” iPad Pro
iPhone 16 Pro Max not in shot as I’m using it to take the photo.

Logi Pebble K380 Keyboard with 3 Bluetooth radios
Generic HP Bluetooth Mouse

My work Daily driver is a 14” Dell, who cares what the specs are, it does the job.

I can also plug the iPad into the dock and get an additional screen, although I still wish I could get the iPad standard multitasking view on the large screen rather than the terrible Stage Manager

The Deskpad is an Empire Strikes Back one from a friend
Also not shown in the Remarkable 2 which is becoming indespensible for work notes and my Dell Wireless Bluetooth headset

I really love the mounted 11’ iPad Pro and I want to get one for the same reason (waiting for m5 next year haha). How did you mount it to the desk riser?

And doesn’t the monitor size disparity bother you?

The Streamdeck and iPad are actually sat on the shelf, it has a groove near the front edge and that shelf protrudes beyond the shelf above so they sit on the bottom shelf and rest on the top shelf.

I had a look at the Balolo products, but found them far too spendy for me to justify.

I don’t notice the difference in the monitors, for some tasks I need a 3rd screen and flip open my laptop.

Slightly tidier than my WFH setup - looking around at my desk indicates that I need a good clean and tidy up at the weekend!

How do you get on with the sit/stand? Work provided me with a desk that replaced my old IKEA cheap desk, but it’s not sit/stand.

It’s only tidy because I had to remove everything to setup the Monitor shelf.

Sit stand comes in useful, I need to think on and stand more. Stand is really useful when I need to get under the desk or to the back.
